In the heart of Nigeria, a quiet fire burned within Dr. Ken Katas—a passion for the lives of young people. For over two decades, he witnessed how technology, societal pressures, and shifts were sometimes dimming the inner spark of youth, leaving unfulfilled potential. He couldn’t ignore it. This profound conviction translated into action. Dr. Katas began venturing into schools, from bustling federal halls to intimate classrooms in private institutions, laying the foundation for what would become a global force. YOUSOM is the culmination of a 20+ year commitment to youth transformation.
